Straight Talk Wireless Home Phone

It’s incredibly slow, lags & freezes a TON, and is SUPER glitchy. And I’m not talking about internet speeds, though that’s slow, laggy & glitchy too. But the wifi issues that come often and unexpectedly are beyond irritating since most devices before this had no trouble at all with being connected to wifi.

When it finally arrived it was indeed the 5G model. I visited a Walmart to look at the phone and see what it was. At first I was hesitant to buy such phone online because I always want to see any gadget I’m buying personally. Plus, this is the first refurbished phone I bought. Anyway, the phone arrived early and it was in a white box that I first thought was my phone case order.

It kept getting worse and worse and eventually a large portion of the screen was not responsive. I’m not sure if that’s a service issue or a Samsung issue, but I don’t like it. The mint mobile service is pretty superb though. I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn’t want to be stuck in a contract. My only complaint is the video quality.

Typical Samsung, great screen quality, nice colour and good build quality but it has a really annoying issue that also affected the previous Samsung A51 I owned. This phone has a macro camera, compass, runs the latest version of Android and has more features than my previous phone including sharper screeen, 5G and dual band WIFI. I like having the macro camera to photograph plants and insects but this only works within 3 to 5cm of the subject.

Samsung Galaxy A20 – 32 GB – Black – Straight Talk – CDMA/GSM

The phone functions quickly and efficiently, and is a great work horse. I like a phone to do what I want it to do, when I want it to. The dual speakers on this smaller and cheaper device are better than those on the flagship. You get a resonance that is wonderful to hear when streaming.

The S7 that I bought is an older model phone, but I had one that was still working fine, just had a cracked the screen. It was cheaper to buy this one than have screen fixed. When the phone arrived, it was not in original packaging, I have purchased 3 of these over the years, so I know this was not a new phone despite it begin advertiesed as a new phone. With expandable memory you can add up to 200GB to keep the content you love, and keep adding to it.

Samsung phones also come with a lot kf bloatware that cannot be removed without jailbreaking the phone which is a major downside. The battery on this was decent for its time, but the performance of the battery definitely degraded over time. As far as the as the service goes, I am super pleased.

If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often. So if 32GB isn’t already enough, you can add an additional 200GB with a microSD card.
